How to apply...
We know that trying to navigate the process of accessing a program like ours can be confusing and in an effort to provide some clarity, no matter where you're coming from or who you may be wanting to support.
We know that seeking support for the many challenges presented by problematic substance use can be difficult just taking the first step to ask for help. Then trying to figure out what to do next can be even more difficult and costs can be prohibitive. We are here to help with all of it.
Please follow along below to learn the steps to take.

If you or the person you are supporting receives income through the Ministry of Social Development in BC (ie. income assistance or PWD) you can simply confirm that on the referral form and CVRC can take care of the rest from there once you arrive. *Additional costs may apply.

Referrals through Island Health practitioners (ie. doctors and/or mental health clinicians) and organizations associated with supporting clients seeking recovery support can request funds through a Schedule H form prior to submitting the referral to CVRC. -
The best way to start this process is to make an appointment at a local Mental Health and Substance Use office.

Referring agents supporting Indigenous clients may seeking funding through the FNHA and must be done prior to completing the referral.

*for those with only once funding source available, CVRC will make every effort to ensure clients are able to access programs through internal funding options. This will be determined on a case by case basis.
