Comox Valley Recovery Centre (CVRC) is a not for profit treatment centre located in Courtenay, B.C.
For males ages 19 and older who are struggling with excessive substance use, CVRC is a residential treatment facility offering a 30, 60, or 90-day program.
Depending on the treatment plan and the clinical needs, the course of treatment may be prolonged.
The program is built on the 12 Steps and uses an evidence-based methodology to cater to the unique needs of each patient.
The program is delivered in groups and includes one-on-one counselling sessions.

CVRC provides healthy meals, exercise opportunities, and guided educational group activities.

CVRC’s approach is congruent with the Substance Use and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) (2011) working definition of recovery.
